This feature allows you to keep your audience up to date on all things about your event. Important session starting soon? Speaking slot changed? No worries, easily inform all the users of your app via this feature.

Exhibitor Catalog

Easily build and run your ecommerce website

The exhibitor catalog is an alphabetic list with all the exhibitors at your event. Tapping on an exhibitor takes you to a detail screen. In the top right corner we provide a search option. If the user types in a few characters, the matching exhibitor names will be shown in the list. Also, Categories & Brands can be added as tags to each exhibitor which improves user navigation.

Items in the exhibitor list can contain the following information:

  • Exhibitor logo
  • Exhibitor name
  • Booth number

The exhibitor detail screen can contain following information:

  • Exhibitor logo
  • Exhibitor name
  • Booth number
  • General description (information about the exhibitor)
  • Contact information (address, telephone, fax, e-mail address, official website)

Interactive Floorplan

Easily build and run your ecommerce website

This module provides a view with a floorplan of the event. Exhibitors can be mapped to positions on the floorplan. Tapping a certain position on the map shows the user the exhibitor closest to this location. Tapping again on the name of the selected exhibitor takes the user to the exhibitor detail screen.

Sessions & Speakers

Easily build and run your ecommerce website

This module provides a list with all the sessions (speaking slots, workshops…) at your event. Sessions can be organized into tracks or days. Tapping on a session shows a detail screen with more information about the session. Tapping on a speaker takes the user to a screen with information about the speaker.

Details provided in the “Sessions” overview screen are:

  • Start and end time
  • Title
  • Speaker

Details provided in a session’s detail view are:

  • Title
  • Start and end time
  • Speaker (tap on it to see details about the speaker)
  • Session description

Details provided in a speaker’s detail view are:

  • Photo
  • Name
  • Function
  • Company
  • Bio
  • Links (website, Twitter, Linkedin)

Sponsors

The Sponsors module allows you to provide visibility to your sponsors. This module is presented as a banner at the bottom of the home screen of your app. Tapping on a banner takes the user to the corporate website of the sponsor.

With this module you can:

  • Add banners
  • Link a banner to a website
  • Configure how long each banner should be visible

Attendees

This module provides an attendee list to make networking between attendees at the event possible. Users can add attendee information to their device contact list, make a direct call or send an email. Tapping on an attendee provides more information such as:

  • Name
  • Function
  • Company
  • Telephone number
  • E-mail address
  • Linkedin Profile

Conference Bag

This module provides powerful integrations with other modules to take your app to an even higher level. It allows users to collect personal interests at your event. It can also be used by you, the event organizer, as a tool to get to know your audience and their interests.

Thanks to this module users can:

  • “Tag” or bookmark sessions to receive content from that session (for example a slide deck, a document mentioned during a session…)
  • Tag exhibitors (because the user likes their product or service and wants to know more about it)
  • Tag other attendees (in order to connect with them later)

The first time a user opens the “My Bag”-section in the app, the user needs to provide his or her e-mail address. After the event, each user receives an e-mail with all their tagged content.

Personal Agenda

This module provides extra buttons on a session detail screen, so a user can add a session to his or her personal agenda. The personal agenda screen shows all the sessions that have been selected by the user.

Social Media

This module offers smart integration with Facebook and Twitter. It allows you to integrate your official Twitter and Facebook feeds with the News module. Every post that appears on your Facebook page is automatically added to the News module.

The module also adds a menu item “Twitter” in the app Twitter that allows people who don’t have a Twitter account to follow the conversation on Twitter regarding your event. You can also add multiple hash tags in this section for example for each topic or session.

Push Notifications

Easily send push notifications (iPhone & Android) to the users of your app, via the online TapCrowd platform.

Voting and Q&A

These modules create real interaction on your event. Real-time voting is a uniqe way to involve your audience during a keynote, a session, workshop or meeting.

Attendees can vote with their own smartphone or tablet, e.g. during a session or meeting. Results are displayed in real-time on a large screen using a browser.

Voting questions can include free text, multiple choice etc.

The Q&A module allows attendees to ask questions to a speaker. Questions are displayed in real-time on a large screen, using a browser. Attendees can direct their question to one individual speaker, questions can be moderated before being displayed.

Surveys & Rating

Easily add surveys in your app, to get feedback from your attendees, before, during and after the event. Surveys can include any type of question (text, multiple choice etc.). The results can be exported in an Excel file.

The rating module is an ideal way to allow attendees to rate sessions and speaker right after the session. Ratings are aggregated and can be downloaded as an excel file.
